Of all the places in our body, the obvious part would be our face, and if warts appear on that site, definitely that would be a big problem. Facial warts create a stigma, to prevent spread you must consider all alternative to get rid of it.

Home remedy for facial warts is the easiest way and the cheapest way to get rid of facial warts. You don’t have to go through invasive and expensive treatments. Home remedies can come in different possibilities. You can simple use adhesive tape therapy which only uses a water proof adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is applied and covered the warts. Make sure you cover the area giving like an air tight feeling on the area face where warts exist. Make it stay for 12 hours or depending on your available time to rest. It is advice to make use of this therapy when you sleep.

There is liquid nitrogen for facial wart remedies. This is what they call the cryotherapy wherein liquid nitrogen is applied onto the warts, freezing it. It’s easy to use but a little bit painful, eventually the pain will subside over few minutes.

Another home remedy used is the Salicylic acid application. It can come on a liquid package where you should paint in onto the wart or a plaster that you need to cut out and place over the affected area. For the liquid paint application, make sure you only apply it on the affected area. Salicylic acid can cause skin injury if place on normal skin tissue.

Plan your facial care regimens, use products that will not affect your skin sensitivity. If your skin have hypersensitivity with the products you use, it may trigger more skin problems.

A proper diet leads to good health and strong immune system. When a person have low immune system there are more susceptible to diseases, that is why human papilloma virus (HPV) infection is common for people having suppressed immune system. Boost your immune system to avoid possible facial warts.

Caring for facial warts is so easy that you would never have to worry about spending a lot of time concerning about it. Making sure you keep a good hygiene, facial care and keep a good healthy body, you can warts-free. There are home remedies but make sure to check with your dermatologist first, you might not be aware of your skin sensitivity with over the counter drugs. Although over the counter drugs may not be that strong compare to prescribe drugs by a doctor, you need not to take a risk on playing and trying different facial wart removal products. Remember, the warts are on your face any complication will be visible right away.

Treatments like Adhesive tape can help prevent further spread and growth of a facial wart. But it’s advisable to use only at night when you sleep or take a rest. You can also go for laser therapy, a method where in there are only minimal chances of complications.

There are also surgical methods used in wart removal. If you undergo wart removal by liquid nitrogen, laser therapy or surgical procedures, make sure to apply proper wound care. Without proper wound care it may complicate to bacterial infections, and we don’t want another skin problem to come up because of that. Sign of infections are redness and pain at the treatment site. Pus may also appear and fever may occur. If any of the symptoms occur, you should consult your doctor right away.

Common Home Remedies

There are two most common home remedies for warts. These are Adhesive Tape Therapy and Salicylic Acid Therapy.

Adhesive Tape Therapy

  • This is what they refer to as “freezing warts method.”
  • This medicine is widely available over the counter and in many different brands from your local drug store.
  • It comes a liquid to paint or a plaster to be placed on the wart.
  • Before application, area whould be soaked for 5-10 minutes in warm water and pared down with a razor. Then the medicine is applied to the area.

Does the Duct Tape Method Really Work?

There are a lot of warts programs that promises to help you to remove them right away, there is a way called the duct tape method in which it removes warts by using a duct tape, but does this duct tape methods really works? This methods works when a person has a wart what they should do is to cover the area where there is a wart with a duct tape for six days and after six days remove the duct tape soak the wart and use an emery board or a pumice stone to remove skin on top of the wart if possible, and you will have to reapply the duct tape after twenty four hours and repeat the first two steps.

Since you can use your favorite color such as red, pink, or blue, can make the duct tape method attractive at the same time  good for treating warts a lot easier for you to handle since they may need to keep the duct tape on for a month or two.
